Bay Aging Board of Directors Honors William E. Doyle, Jr. Upon Retirement from Board

The Bay Aging Board of Directors has announced the retirement of William E. Doyle, Jr. (Bill), who stepped down from the Board at the conclusion of his term on September 30, 2025. Mr. Doyle served on the Bay Aging Board as a representative of Northumberland County and provided five years of dedicated service and leadership, leaving a lasting impact on the organization, particularly through his passionate work with the Bay Aging Foundation.

Mr. Doyle served as a member of the Board from 2020 to 2025. During his tenure, he provided invaluable governance by serving on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Foundation Board. Throughout his service, Bay Aging continued to grow as an award-winning, innovative organization that maximizes health, housing, and transportation impacts across the Commonwealth.

A notable part of his legacy is that he was foundational to the establishment and initial success of Bay Aging’s Caregiver Support Program through his tireless advocacy and action. “Mr. Doyle’s invaluable oversight and passionate foundational work have been instrumental to Bay Aging and the Bay Aging Foundation,” said Barry L. Gross, M.D., Chairman of the Bay Aging Board of Directors. “On behalf of the Board, we thank him for his many contributions and express our hope for his continued health, happiness, and prosperity.”
