The Board of Directors membership is composed of volunteers who represent each of the counties Bay Aging serves. Ten members are appointed by their county’s Board of Supervisors. Five members are chosen by the citizens of the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. All serve for a term of five years. The slate of officers and directors are. .

Sheriff of Essex County; volunteers through his church community and civic groups

Karen Lewis

Vice-Chair, Westmoreland County

Assistant County Administrator for Westmoreland County; community volunteer and advocate for seniors and people with disabilities

Lt. General C. Norman Wood, USAF (Ret.)

Treasurer, Essex County

Retired military officer; active volunteer through numerous civic and community groups; advocates for seniors and veterans of all ages

Bill Reisner

Recording Secretary, At Large

Retired businessman; built an apartment community for people with disabilities; volunteers through numerous civic organizations

Assistant County Administrator for Middlesex County for the last 25 years; active in the community

Businessman; active volunteer through numerous organizations; advocate for disadvantaged youth and families

Mathews County

Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army (Ret.); very active through several civic organizations

Volunteer Assistant Chief, EMS, Gloucester County; educator; business owner

Cynthia Talcott

Richmond County

Retired, worked with adults with disabilities in supported employment programs; active community volunteer

Reverend Maria Harris

King William County

Associate Minister at Third Union Baptist Church in Walkerton; active in her community and strong advocate for people with disabilities

Charles Adkins, Esq.

King & Queen County

King and Queen County Commonwealth’s Attorney; active community volunteer

Ron Saunders

Gloucester County

Retired from Dominion Virginia Power

Active in the community including efforts to support community organizations through the Gloucester Community Foundation
